“Riced” Hondas are like aggressive pitbulls: It’s usually the owner who has the problem, and thus gives the breed as a whole a bad name.

Like Corvette Guy.

I hate the stigma around Hondas, they really are amazing cars for what they are. I have been thinking about doing a stock k24 swap into like a 92-95 sedan and making it a commuter. The k24 will be more than enough to get into trouble and could still return gas mileage when needed. Don’t do too much else to it, maybe some SI wheels or good coilovers.

All enthusiasts need to own a civic at some point and either modify or try to take it back to stock. Either way you will learn a lot about part selection and how crappy parts equal crappy car. They are about the simplest modern car, they will teach you a lot about how modern car systems work.

Pitt bulls are bred to be aggressive to other animals. Like retriever retrieving and hunting dogs hunting it’s bred in. Training not necessary. A placid pitt bull would be against breeding so not a good pitt bull according to breed standards

They aren’t bred to be aggressive, but they are sometimes trained to be aggressive. In all honesty, they’re gentle and loving animals when treated and trained with the care and respect they deserve.

And what do you think fighting dogs are bred for?

Fighting dogs are bred for strength. Aggression is a learned behavior.

That’s a nice proclamation but false. The best fighters were bred with the best fighters. What makes the best fighter? Strength and aggression. Any trait can be bred into a dog. It’s why bulldogs are lazy and border collies try to herd even without training.

Those are fighting dogs, which is beside the point. What we’re looking at are pit bulls as a breed. As a breed, those that aren’t bred to fight are very sweet and caring dogs. It’s the ones that are bred to fight that ruin the image of the breed.

What is it you think they were bred for?

They were bred to be muscular and robust, and were trained for aggression. It literally says it in the page you linked.

I’m going to breed these docile dogs together instead of these aggressive ones to make fighting dogs; said no one ever

It actually says you have to train them to not be aggressive in the last paragraph. Not sure what part you refer to

Right in the beginning, where it says that they’re bred for strength, but used for fighting.

I have an honest question: Have you ever lived with, or spent a significant amount of time with a pet pit bull?

I understand dog breeding and have never needed a dog breed for fighting so I haven’t owned one. I have watched my hippie neighbors pitt bull pup kill a cat. Does that count? And my friend had two till the female killed the male. Does that count? I know you love your dog and love is irrational. No rain you should respond to logic. If dogs can be bred docile the can also be bred aggressive. Why wouldn’t you breed a dog meant for fighting to be aggressive to other animals? You breed a herding dog for better hunting etc. By your theory of dogs must be trained to be aggressive then golden retrievers could be made fighting dogs but it’s wrong. They can only be big sweeties because that’s what they are bred for. As opposed to fighting bullsand bears other dogs
